Comparative Reporting on Abortion Related Incidents

Last week, the National Abortion Federation released their 2022 Violence & Disruption Statistics report. This has been anxiously awaited by many scholars and journalists, as we have watched media attention gravitate toward sensationalist reports about “Jane’s Revenge” attacks on anti-abortion facilities, without any statistics about the exponentially higher number of attacks on abortion facilities to balance the narrative. The Endora team has compiled a report analyzing the statistics on pro-abortion incidents being reported, comparing them with the recently released NAF numbers for attacks on abortion facilities, and taking a look at the disproportionate coverage of all this information in the media.
